PERKASIE

Annual Holiday
Festival of Trees Tour

Perkasie, PA — The Pearl S. Buck House, 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie, is running its Annual Holiday Festival of Trees Tour and Exhibit, through December 31, 2007. The Tour and Exhibit is a Bucks County holiday tradition for the entire family to enjoy. The Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning author was especially fond of the holidays, and the beautifully decorated trees and décor throughout her National Historic Landmark Home reflect that spirit. With over a dozen stunningly decorated trees around the home, plus other holiday decorations adorning each room, this circa 1820 stone farmhouse is truly something magical to experience during the festive season. Guided tours are offered Tuesdays through Saturdays at 10 and 11 a.m., 1, 2 and 3 p.m., as well as on Sundays at 12, 1, 2 and 3 p.m., through December 30. The facilities are closed on Mondays, except for large groups who have made reservations. The Pearl S. Buck House will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Admission is $8 for adults and $7 for seniors and students. Holiday shopping at the gift shop is available Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. For more information, please visit the Pearl S. Buck House website, or call 215-249-0100 ext. 110.
